How much salt can a baby have?
There have been many comments made by Mums in Spain about how high in salt and sugar Spanish foods can be, but just how much salt is it safe for our children to comsume? Babies require far less salt in their diet than adults do.



Your baby cries to communicate messages to you. Attending to your baby straight away when he cries has been proven to increase confidence in children when they are older and it is not recommended to leave your baby crying.
Cloth nappies are back! Look in any parenting magazine or website in the UK or USA and you will see the trend has shifted back towards washable or "real" nappies. Many people feel apprehensive when they first hear the words “washable nappies” and think back to the old days of large terry toweling squares, nappy pins, folds and boiling on a stove. The new breed of washable nappy couldn’t be further from this image. There is no more soaking, folding or pinning.
What an immense time of preparation it is...pregnancy! There seems to be an overwhelming list of things that you are encouraged to regard as "must-haves" when you are expecting your first baby and considered ripe for spending! A whole range of baby products inevitably pile up in what will soon be the nursery and many a mum is probably left wondering whether there will actually be any room left for the baby by the end of it. In hindsight of course we realise that we didn't really need half of the stuff
